While I love a beautifully bright blue sky, you'll never hear me complain when there are puffy clouds lighting up the horizon. They did insist on covering this mountain peak though, which made it difficult for us to be able to tell which mountain it was when the kids asked. That's okay. It was just being a little shy.

6" x 9" paper

Watercolor and ink on hand-made paper

I call them "sketches" because of how quickly I create them--usually between 20-60 minutes--and they're often created "en plein air" (outside, on location), using water from the painting's subject, while my kids are playing.
