I painted this little sketch en plein air while on my art residency at the Rogue River Ranch near Agness, Oregon. It is this amazing, pristine little spot frozen in time out in the middle of the vast wilderness, mostly accessed by rafters stopping by on their way down the river. There is so much history wrapped up in this beautiful place!
