My kids always come back from every hike with pockets full of rockets, but they aren't the only ones! I love the variety of textures and colors and shapes that can be found in just one bank of rocks. And don't they always look even more impressive while clear water flows over them? That water cleans and polishes them, while also smoothing down their rough edges. It's lovely sometimes to just sit and appreciate the beauty in small and simple things like rocks.
