I have always loved clouds. I mean, who doesn't really? But growing up in Oregon has given me the unique opportunity to have rarely been without them. I am fascinated by their movement and majesty. I love their brilliant light and their foreboding darkness. I like the smell of a good rain storm and thrill at the power of a midnight thunderstorm. It took me years to get up the courage to begin painting clouds, but now I can't stop. This sky series will be ongoing - it'll last as long as I still love to paint them. And I don't see that stopping anytime soon.
